Buses from Valencia Airport
Valencia Airport has several bus routes linking the terminal with central Valencia, the metropolitan area and other parts of the Valencian Community.
Among the most commonly used options are Line 150 to Valencia city centre and, at night, the 150N; Line 106 to Torrent and Bonaire shopping centre; and Line 132, which links the airport with Fira València and Metrovalencia’s Empalme station.
In addition to the metropolitan bus lines, the airport is also served by intercity services, private transfers and pre-booked shuttle services, depending on each operator’s timetable and availability.
If you prefer a more convenient option, you can also book a transfer or shuttle service in advance from the terminal.
The main bus stop is outside Terminal T1, floor 0, next to the Arrivals area, and is clearly signposted.

Line 150 Metrobús – Aeropuerto Valencia
València – Quart de Poblet – Mislata – Manises – Aeropuerto
- Metrobús Line 150 is the most widely used route and connects Valencia Airport with the city centre in around 35–45 minutes, depending on traffic.
- On the way, it passes through Manises, Quart de Poblet and Mislata, making it especially useful if your destination is in one of these towns.
- It terminates in Valencia at Avinguda de l’Oest – Hospital, a few minutes’ walk from Estación del Norte (main railway station) and Mercado Central (Central Market).
Timetable:
Monday to Friday: from 05:15 (from the airport) to approx. 23:15.
Saturdays: from 05:15 to approx. 23:57.
Sundays and public holidays: the timetable varies; always check the official maps and timetables before travelling.
Frequency: Every 23–40 minutes, depending on the time slot and type of day.

Metrobús Line 150N (Night service)
València – Quart de Poblet – Mislata – Manises – Aeropuerto
Line 150N connects Valencia Airport with the city centre at night.
It passes through Manises, Quart de Poblet and Mislata, like daytime line 150, and terminates in Valencia at Avinguda de l’Oest – Hospital, next to Mercado Central (Central Market).
It is the most practical alternative when the metro is no longer running.
Timetable: Night service.
Sunday to Thursday: from around 23:00 to 05:38 (9 departures)
Fridays: only 3 late-night departures at 03:00, 03:45 and 04:30
Saturdays and the eves of public holidays: from around 03:00 to 06:38 (5 departures)
Frequency: Every 45–60 minutes (Sunday to Thursday).

Metrobús Line 106
Torrent – Aldaia - Aeropuerto de València
Line 106 connects Valencia Airport with the town of Torrent, passing through metropolitan area towns such as Manises, Quart de Poblet, Aldaia and Alaquàs, and also stops at Bonaire Shopping Centre.
It is a practical option both for residents of the metropolitan area and for travellers staying in hotels near the airport or heading to the Bonaire shopping area.
It is also a direct alternative for reaching the airport from Torrent, without going through central Valencia.
Timetable: Daytime service, with first departures at around 05:55 and last late-night departures on Fridays (until 00:14) and Saturdays (until 01:20). On all other days, the service ends at around 23:30.
Service on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays operates only when Bonaire Shopping Centre is open.
Frequency: Every 30–35 minutes at peak times.

Metrobús Line 132
Fira València – Aeropuerto de València
Line 132 directly connects Valencia Airport with three key points in the northern part of the city: Fira València, the Palacio de Congresos (conference centre) and Empalme Metrovalencia station.
At Fira València and the Palacio de Congresos, it is especially useful for people attending trade fairs, conferences and events.
At Empalme metro station, you can easily connect with the Metrovalencia and the tram network, making it possible to continue to other neighbourhoods and nearby towns.
- VERY IMPORTANT: This metropolitan bus line ONLY RUNS on trade fair days at Feria Valencia.
Timetable: Daytime service on trade fair days, with the first departure at around 07:45 and the last at around 22:05.
Frequency: Around 13 departures throughout the day (variable frequency, not regular).

Information common to all Metrobús lines
All Metrobús lines stop outside, opposite the Arrivals terminal at Valencia Airport, less than 3 minutes’ walk away and clearly signposted.
Timetables and frequencies may vary depending on the day (weekday, Saturday or public holiday) and the season. It is always advisable to check the latest official maps and timetables.
Luggage is allowed, but with limitations: space is limited and it is not always comfortable for large or bulky suitcases.
Official fares (ATMV – 2026)
Single ticket Aeroport ↔ Valencia city: 4,80 €.
Single ticket Aeroport ↔ intermediate municipalities (Mislata, Quart, Manises): 2,80 €.
SUMA 10 AB+ card: €21.00 (10 journeys → €2.10/journey).
With the fare reduction valid until 31/12/2026: €12.60 (€1.26 per journey).
Also valid on Metrovalencia, EMT (city buses) and Cercanías Renfe within zone AB+.
Initial card cost: There are two formats. The cheapest is the anonymous cardboard card (€1.10), although the plastic card is the most commonly used (€2.20).
Discounts for user groups (applicable on Metrobús):
Children under 14 → travel free of charge (temporary free travel until 31/12/2026). On Metrovalencia, children under 10 travel free when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
Young people up to 30 → SUMA Mensual Jove / Móbilis30 pass with a 50% discount (AB+ zone: €22.50/month with the fare reduction valid until 31/12/2026)
People aged 65 and over and pensioners → 50% discount on the single ticket with the Gent Major / Pensionista ticket. The Gent Major mensual pass is also available (AB+ zone: €5.90/month with the fare reduction valid until 31/12/2026)
People with disabilities → Mobilitat ticket with reduced fares (AB+ zone: €5.90/month with the fare reduction valid until 31/12/2026). People with a high degree of disability (≥ 64%) may be accompanied by another person using the same ticket type.
Accessibility (PRM) → the fleet includes vehicles adapted for passengers with reduced mobility, although availability may vary depending on the service.

Temporary discounts are valid until 30 June 2026. From that date, standard fares will apply unless a new extension is approved. Always check the latest fares on the ATMV or Metrovalencia website.
Practical tips
The bus usually takes longer than the metro (35–60 min to the city centre), but it can be useful if your destination is on one of the routes covered by these lines or if you are travelling at night.
You can pay by cash or card on the bus itself.
Children under 14 travel free when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
The fleet includes vehicles adapted for passengers with reduced mobility, although accessibility may vary depending on the service.
At peak times, luggage space may be limited.

In addition to the regional Metrobús lines that connect Valencia Airport with the city and the wider metropolitan area, long-distance coach services also operate with a direct stop at the terminal. They are especially useful if your final destination is outside Valencia city, particularly towards parts of the Costa Blanca and the province of Alicante.
- Long-distance coaches: ALSA operates services with a direct stop at the airport to destinations such as Dénia, Benidorm and Xàbia/Jávea. The stop is located in the Arrivals area, floor 0, bay 6. Timetables, frequencies and availability vary depending on the date and season, so it is always advisable to check before buying your ticket.

- Shuttles and private transfers: Hotels, travel agencies and tourist transport companies offer airport transfer services by advance booking. They do not run to fixed timetables, but they are convenient because they are usually door to door and allow the pick-up time to be adapted to your flight schedule.

Not all intercity buses operating in Valencia stop at the airport. FlixBus and many long-distance services usually operate from the Valencia Bus Station or from specific city stops such as Joaquín Sorolla, not from the Valencia Airport terminal. Always check the exact departure and arrival point before booking to avoid confusion.
How to move between the bus and the terminal

From the plane → to the bus stop
Collect your luggage in the baggage reclaim area (or go straight out if you are travelling with hand luggage only).
Head towards the Arrivals exit: you will find cafés, shops and the AENA information point.
Follow the yellow signs with the bus icon (alongside metro, taxi and ride-hailing/VTC signs).
Go out through the main automatic doors: the bus stop is directly opposite, outdoors, with covered shelters.
Each bay is marked with an information sign showing the line number (150, 106, 132, 150N) or the company name (for example, ALSA at bay 6).

Step-by-step guide (before your flight):
Board the bus at the signposted stops (check the maps on this page to identify them) and get off at the stop marked Aeropuerto de València (you will see that you are right in front of the terminal).
Cross the covered pedestrian crossing to the main entrance of the terminal.
Once inside, go up to floor 1 (Eixides / Departures / Salidas) by following the signs. You can use the escalators or the lift.
Check the screens to see whether your flight is on time, your check-in desk and your boarding gate.
If you need to check in luggage, go to your airline’s desk.
If you are travelling with hand luggage only, go straight to security control.

Where is the bus stop at Valencia Airport?
The bus stop is outside the terminal, in the Arrivals area on floor 0, just a few minutes’ walk from the building exit. It is next to the outer kerb and close to the pedestrian walkway that connects with car park P1.
The metropolitan Metrobús routes operate from this area, including line 150 towards Valencia and line 106 towards towns in the metropolitan area. Long-distance ALSA coaches, when they stop at the airport, usually use the Arrivals area, floor 0, bay 6.
Before travelling, always check the exact bay or stop shown on your ticket, especially if you are travelling with ALSA or another intercity operator.
What is the cheapest bus to the city centre?
For direct travel between Valencia Airport and the city centre, the usual bus option is Metrobús line 150. A single Valencia–Airport ticket costs €4.80.
f you travel with a SUMA 10 AB+ card, the cost per journey can be lower if you are going to use several trips. With the temporary fare valid until 31 December 2026, the SUMA 10 AB+ ticket costs €12.60, equivalent to €1.26 per journey if all 10 trips are used.
If your destination is in intermediate towns such as Mislata, Quart de Poblet or Manises, the Metropolitan Area–Airport fare may be cheaper than the full Valencia–Airport journey.
Which bus runs at night?
The night service is covered by Metrobús line 150N, which connects Valencia, Mislata, Quart de Poblet, Manises and the airport during the night.
It is the main option to consider when the metro is no longer running. Timetables vary depending on the day of the week: from Sunday to Thursday there are night departures until the early hours, while on Fridays, Saturdays and the evenings before public holidays the service is extended with more departures.
Before travelling to or from the airport at night, always check the latest timetable for line 150N.
How long does the bus take to Valencia city centre?
The journey between the airport and Valencia city centre usually takes 35 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic, the time of day and the exact stop where you get on or off.
The most central reference stop is Avinguda de l’Oest – Hospital, close to the Mercado Central and Ciutat Vella. At peak times or in heavy traffic, the journey can take close to 60 minutes.
Can I pay by bank card on the buses?
On Metrobús routes, you can pay in cash or by contactless bank card directly on the bus. You can also use a preloaded SUMA card, which can also be reused on the metro, EMT buses and Cercanías trains.
For long-distance ALSA coaches, it is best to buy your ticket in advance online or through a booking platform such as Omio, Movelia or Busbud.
Is the single ticket valid on all buses?
No. Each type of service has its own fares and conditions.
On Metrobús, the price depends on the route and the journey. For example, the Valencia–Airport journey on line 150 has a specific fare, while other metropolitan routes may have different prices.
Long-distance coaches, such as ALSA, have their own fares depending on destination, date, availability and ticket conditions. Before travelling, always check that your ticket correctly shows the origin, destination and Aeropuerto Valencia-Manises stop if you want to depart from or arrive directly at the terminal.
Where can I buy the bus ticket?
For metropolitan Metrobús routes, you can buy a single ticket directly on the bus. If you are going to use SUMA tickets, you can load them in advance onto a compatible card through the usual Metrovalencia, ATMV or authorised sales channels.
For long-distance ALSA coaches, it is best to buy your ticket online, on the operator’s website or app, or through booking platforms such as Omio, Movelia or Busbud. Make sure the ticket expressly shows “Aeropuerto Valencia-Manises” as the departure or arrival point.
FlixBus and other long-distance operators usually operate from Valencia Bus Station or from specific stops in the city, not from the airport terminal.
Are there discounts or travel passes for the airport bus?
Yes. If you are going to use public transport several times in Valencia and its metropolitan area, a SUMA ticket may be worth considering.
To travel between Valencia and the airport, you need a ticket valid for the relevant fare-zone combination, usually AB+. With the temporary fare valid until 31 December 2026, the SUMA 10 AB+ costs €12.60, equivalent to €1.26 per journey if all 10 trips are used.
SUMA can be useful if you are going to combine bus, metro, EMT or Cercanías within the valid zones. If you are only making a one-off journey to or from the airport, it may be more practical to buy a single ticket on the bus.
In addition to the SUMA 10 AB+ as the cheaper option for frequent use, there are specific discounts available on Metrobús for certain groups:

Can you take large suitcases on the bus?
Yes, you can travel with luggage, but it is worth taking the type of bus into account.
On metropolitan Metrobús buses, such as line 150, luggage space is limited. If you are carrying a large suitcase, a child seat or a lot of luggage, the journey may be less comfortable, especially at peak times.
Long-distance ALSA coaches usually have luggage holds, so they may be more suitable for longer journeys to destinations such as Dénia, Benidorm or Xàbia/Jávea. Even so, always check the luggage conditions on your ticket before travelling.
What is the difference between the bus and the metro for getting to the airport?
The metro is usually the fastest and most frequent option for travelling between the airport and Valencia city centre. Lines 3 and 5 connect directly with stations such as Xàtiva, Colón and Àngel Guimerà.
The 150 bus is slower, but it can be useful if your destination is close to its route, if you are travelling to intermediate towns such as Mislata, Quart de Poblet or Manises, or if you need a night-time alternative with line 150N.
In short: the metro is usually better for speed and a direct connection with the city centre; the bus may be useful for certain neighbourhoods, intermediate towns, trips using a SUMA pass or night-time journeys.
