P1 car park
The general P1 car park is one minute from the terminal. It is the closest option for quick pick-ups, short stays or dropping off and collecting passengers more comfortably.

Valencia Airport is mainly organised over two levels: floor 0 brings together arrivals, baggage reclaim and transport connections (metro, taxi, bus, car parks and car hire), while floor 1 includes departures, check-in, the security checkpoint and boarding. With this layout in mind, these are the most common routes to help you move around the airport easily.
From the main entrance to check-in
If you are flying from Valencia, enter the terminal building and follow the signs towards the departures area. The check-in desks are on floor 1, so you will need to go up from the main entrance if you come in on the ground floor.
From check-in to the security checkpoint
After checking in or locating your flight on the screens, follow the signs towards the security checkpoint. This area is also on floor 1, within the departures area.
From arrivals to the metro
If you have just landed and want to reach Valencia city centre by public transport, follow the signs towards Metro Aeroport. The station entrance is connected to the regional flights terminal and can be reached on foot from the arrivals area.
From arrivals to the P1 car park
To reach the general P1 car park, leave through the public arrivals area and follow the parking signs. It is the closest option to the terminal and is practical for quick pick-ups or short stays.
From arrivals to taxi, bus or ride-hailing pick-up
After collecting your baggage and entering the public area, you will find the main ground transport connections next to the terminal building. Follow the outdoor signs to reach taxis, buses or pick-up points.
From arrivals to car hire
If you have booked a car, look for the car hire signs from the arrivals area. The desks are in this part of the airport, and vehicle collection takes place in the corresponding area of the car park.

Approx. 1–3 min. The general P1 car park is directly opposite the terminal; the walk usually takes around 1–3 minutes, depending on where you have parked.
Arrivals → taxi / bus
Approx. 1–3 min. After entering the arrivals hall, the taxi rank and bus shelters are just a few minutes’ walk away, next to the terminal façade.
Arrivals → Metro Aeroport
Approx. 3–6 min. The entrance to Aeroport station is reached on foot from arrivals; follow the “Metro” signs. For departures, you need to go up one more floor and check in / pass through security.
Security checkpoint → regional terminal
Approx. 5–8 min. To reach the regional terminal, you need to walk through the full boarding area (T1 and T2), pass the corridor where the Joan Olivert VIP Lounge is located, and go down to floor 0 by lift or moving ramp.
Note: times are approximate and may vary depending on the assigned gate, passenger flow, luggage or whether you need to use lifts. Always check the airport screens and leave enough time before your flight, especially if you are checking in luggage, travelling in a group or need assistance.

How do I get from the metro, taxi or car park to the terminal?
Metrovalencia’s “Aeroport” station is directly connected to the terminal in the arrivals area.
The taxi rank, bus stops and ride-hailing pick-up points are located in front of the terminal building, outside the ground floor (floor 0).
If you arrive by car, the P1 car park is the closest to the terminal and is one or just a few minutes’ walk away, following the “Parking / P1” signs.
Do you have to walk a lot inside the airport?
No. Distances are short compared with larger airports.
The terminal has a compact layout, so most journeys take only a few minutes.
There are no internal trains or buses between terminals: the whole route is on foot through well-signposted corridors.
How do I find my boarding gate without getting lost?
After security, you will find panels and signs showing the boarding gates by zone or number range.
First, check the departures screens for the gate number assigned to your flight.
Then follow the signs to that area. The route is direct and well signposted, so it is difficult to get lost inside the terminal.
What should I do if I am short on time before boarding?
If you are short on time, the most important thing is to go straight to the departures floor (floor 1), pass through security and locate your gate.
Inside the boarding area, distances are short, but it is worth checking the screens in case your gate has changed.
